RB Leipzig have found themselves on the receiving end of some social media banter ahead of their upcoming away fixture against Real Madrid. The exchange stems from previous mockery between the German outfit and Bundesliga rivals Eintracht Frankfurt.
Earlier, Leipzig had taunted Eintracht after two lopsided 6-0 results occurred between them. However, Frankfurt seized the chance to return the favour with their own trolling, playfully asking if the recurring scoreline or outcome has now become a tradition between the two clubs.
This playful dose of football karma arrives at an intriguing moment for Leipzig. With a major trip to face Real Madrid looming on the horizon, the humorous exchange with the Frankfurt side has added an extra spotlight to their preparations before heading to the Spanish capital.
